Today I would like to introduce you to another great fashion designer, the chinese-japanese canadian designer Dan Liu
He is also the founder and the creative director of TATSUAKI fashion label. He is best known for contemporary dresses and his tailoring that accentuates the female form with a romantic flair and I must say, his Fall Winter 17/18 collection is by far my favorite collection at the NYFW this season. Why ? well…I can literally see mysself wearing each piece. From the colors, the details to the fabrics, I just love everything !! This collection is so feminine, fresh and very diverse, you can’t help but admire his creative work. Dan Liu is definitely a name to remember ! Don’t you think ?
So the Chinese fashion designer Lan Yu and her namesake brand LANYU returns to the New York Fashion Week this year to present her 2017 Autumn Winter collection and I am so glad she did ! Every piece is stunning and very feminine.
Lan Yu who describes her signature aesthetic as “ethereal, aspirational, and couture”, says she designs “for a woman who pursues beauty in the name of self-worth“and I must say, she does it right ! There is really a feeling in that collection and I can’t wait to see more from her.
