Hello my Fashionistas,
How you are all holding up in this whole coronavirus pandemic ?
I feel like things have escalated so fast we did not have much time to get ready for this quarantine,
So many content and projects have been postponed, grocery shopping has been rushed. A lot of adjustments to make in everyone daily agenda.
I am the type of person who believes that there is a positive point in every situation and I think it is important that we all hold to that hope.
We just have to take it one day at the time, practice our tolerance to uncertainty and find more things to do at home.
I have personnaly discovered the value of spending more time at home since I started working full time from home couple months ago. Today I want to share with you 6 things you can do to keep you busy while being stuck at home.
1. From Spring Cleaning to redecorating your place
It is probably the best time to deep clean your home and go beyond your weekly cleaning. You can also reorgonize your kitchen or redecorate room by room. There are so many DYI and inspiration on pinterest and the good news is that amazon still deliver !!
2. Update your closet to your dream minimalist wardrobe
With Spring time around the corner, it could be a good idea to clean out your closet for good. My motto when it comes to wardrobe cleaning is simple : Everything that you don’t wear, has to go ! the less options you have, the better and easier your life will be. If you need a total wardrobe change, most big online retailers are running as usual.
3. Become a Pro at Indoor Workouts
Have you ever wanted to start or update your workout rountine ? what about you use that time at home to get back in shape, right on time for summer 🙂 there are a lot of workout routines available on youtube or just follow some fitness influencers on Instagram ! you will find all the inspiration you need for free !!
Back in december holidays sale my husband and I had invested in the ProForm Endurance 920E elliptical and with its iFit Coach Ready for customized workouts, I am really glad we bought it, especially these days as we keep each other motivate to workout more. If you are alone home, you can schedule a facetime workout session with your friends, a great way to keep your energy level up and workout together.
4. Learn new recipes
Baking makes me happy. I think there is something special in good food that creates a sense of comfort and wellbeing. Lately I have been searching the internet for new recipes to try and my favorite website is Ricardo Cuisine. I invite you to check it out. Little advice : Prefer recipes that don’t require much ingredients so you can wisely use your grocery stock during this uncertain time.
5. Catch up on TV shows and movies on Netflix or Amazon Prime
There are probably dozens of shows or movies that you have been dying to check out or even re-watch but you never had enough time to watch them. Well, now is the time to pick a new drama or comedy to get obsess with!!
what’s on your list ?
6. Take Ecourses
Why not take this time home to learn new skills from the comfort of your couch ? you can find free and affordable online courses. I finally decided to improve my Excel skills with an online pre-recorded course I found on a website called Udemy
So here you have it ! my 6 things to help you make the best of your quarantine.
Don’t forget, social distancing does not mean social isolation so let’s all stay connected ! After all, this digital life has been part of our daily life for a while now and together we can all come out stronger of this new reality.
Stay safe and take care of yourself,
xoxo
